Join us on February 8, 2025 at Englewood High School for an unforgettable day of flute festivities!

What to Expect This Year:

🎼 Exciting Coaches: Learn from our renowned coaches for enhanced flute skills and a wonderful musical experience!

🤩 Good Vibes Only: Say goodbye to traditional competitions! Again this year, embrace the joy of playing in one of our two flute choirs tailored for students in grades 6-8, and 9-12. Register with a simple 2-5 minute recording (even your phone will do!), showcasing your chosen repertoire by Wednesday, January 22. All applicants will be accepted, your recording is to help us tailor your part assignments to your strengths.

🎵 Chamber Groups Welcome: Have a pre-formed chamber group? Showcase your collective talent with an additional piece for a chance to shine on stage!

💰 Affordable and Accessible: A minimal $5 registration fee, plus a CFA student membership fee of $25, opens the door to a day filled with music, learning, and new friendships. Don’t forget, all participants must be CFA Members.

🎵 10:00-12:15 – Small Group Rehearsals: Dive into rehearsals, refining your skills, and creating beautiful music alongside talented peers.

🍱 12:15-12:45 – Brown Bag Lunch: Take a break, refuel, and connect with fellow flute enthusiasts. It’s more than just music; it’s a community!

🎉 1:00-2:00 – Lively Concert: Witness the culmination of your hard work in a entertaining concert. Feel the thrill of showcasing your skills and performing live!

🍪 2:00-2:30 – Cookie Reception: Conclude the day on a sweet note with a delightful cookie reception. Share your experiences, make memories, and savor the success!
