 River Walk Flute Day 2024

June 13, 2024

 Join us at Hoag Hall on the CSU Pueblo campus for a fun filled day of playing the flute and learning. We will give a flute choir performance along the Pueblo River Walk and there will be an opportunity to ride on a river boat while playing with the group for part of the performance.

Flute Day 2024 will include:

All State Audition Music Workshop

A Warm-ups and Fundamentals of Playing the Flute Session

Rehearsal and a Performance with the CSU Pueblo Community Flute Choir

Registration for the event can be completed by emailing the CSU Pueblo Flute Instructor,

There is no fee for registration, but we are suggesting a donation of $25 to the Pure Imagination scholarship fund, in memory of a former CSU Pueblo flute student and member of the Flue Choir.

Music will be provided. Please bring a music stand for the performance.

Schedule of events for Flute Day:

9:00 – 10:30 a.m. – All State Audition Music Workshop – open to all interested High School students

10:30- 11:00 – Warmups and fundamentals of flute playing – open to all interested flutists

11:00 – 12:30 – Flute Choir rehearsal

12:30 – 1:30 – lunch

1:30- 3:30 – Flute Choir rehearsal

3:30 – 4:30 – Move to Riverwalk and prepare for concert.

5:00 – 6:00 – Concert along the Pueblo Riverwalk
