Regina Helcher Yost Masterclass at Colorado State University

Dr. Regina Helcher Yost is internationally renowned as both an orchestral and chamber musician, as well as an acclaimed teacher of the flute and piccolo pedagogy. Currently, Regina is the Second Flute/Piccolo of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Second Flute/Piccolo of the Savannah Philharmonic, Adjunct Professor of Flute at Charleston Southern University, and core flutist for Chamber Music Charleston. Regina was the Assistant Principal Flute/Piccolo of the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, Colorado from 1994-2023.

She has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Honolulu Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, and Atlanta Chamber Players in tours across the United States and Europe and has appeared in and the finest halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Musikverein and the Berlin Philharmonie.

Regina has performed in many music festivals including Tanglewood, Pacific Music Festival (Japan), GRAZ (Austria), Sarasota Music Festival, Chautauqua, among many others.

Her flute/piccolo teachers include Geoffrey Gilbert, James Pellerite, Julius Baker, Carl Hall, Thomas Robertello, and Jack Wellbaum, among many others.
