Celebrating 150 years of Colorado Statehood and 35 years of the Colorado Flute Association
Zoom sessions are Thursday evenings, 6:30-7:30pm. Each session will be recorded and uploaded to the Member’s Portal of the CFA website for future viewing.
Event Schedule
September 10 – Extended Techniques with Micro Brew Crew members Christina Krayer and SierraMarie Whigham. Learn the basics and how to successfully work pieces with confidence.
September 17 – Etude of the Week LIVE with Katy Wherry (CFA Flutist), founder of Etude of the Week – the popular online flute community with over 7,500 members from over 100 countries.
September 24 – Musician Wellness with Jeremy Grant. A musician and wellness coach, Jeremy will offer practical tips to help you play your best for years to come!
October 8 – Off the Beaten Path: Careers of CFA flutists Nancy Allen, Sandy Tiemens, Dina Hollingsworth, and Katy Wherry who have interesting careers beyond the traditional orchestra/university teaching/soloist route.
October 22 – Foundational Techniques for Flutists with Andrea Artley (CFA Flutist). Join Andrea as she provides practical fundamentals that apply to players at nearly every level.
